Our tourist office obtained
the Tourism and Disability label
The Tourism & Handicap label helps to better meet the needs of people with disabilities, whatever the disability: motor, visual, hearing and mental, in order to allow everyone to choose their vacations and leisure activities with complete freedom.
The label guarantees in particular easy access to the establishment's buildings and services as well as a personalized welcome offering attention and kindness. The label concerns accommodation, catering, places to visit, leisure and cultural activities, or again the tourist information places. 4 establishments have already received the Tourism & Handicap label.
A labeled establishment meets related criteria
- at the level of accessibility of tourist infrastructures and services,
- welcoming and informing customers,
- security issues for tourist infrastructure and services.
The label is valid for a period of 5 years. The obtaining procedure relies on a network of territorial tourism partners and local Tourism & Handicap relays.

Coup de coeur de Gironde Tourisme pour l’obtention de la Marque Tourisme et Handicap !
- Le village éco-solidaire du Falgouët du Centre de Mer PEP
- situé au bord du bassin à Andernos, et composé de 8 chalets bois aux allures de cabanes de pêcheurs a reçu la marque Tourisme et Handicap, qui apporte la garantie d’un accueil efficace et adapté aux besoins indispensables des personnes handicapées.
- Il a également reçu le “Coup de coeur” de Gironde Tourisme, pour sa double démarche environnementale et accessibilité handicap.
