A network of dynamic partners

Supporting tourist professionals in the “Andernos” destination is an action carried out by the tourist office, thanks to its network of partners made up of 112 service providers in catering, accommodation (guest rooms, vacation rentals, hotels and campsites), leisure activities, and local shops. To promote this commitment, the tourist office organizes partner meetings twice a year.

An appointment was therefore made on Wednesday March 16, on the upper floor of the FishHead restaurant, ideally located on the edge of the pool, to discuss the year 2021 and the 2022 projects.

Chaired by Jean-Yves ROSAZZA, mayor of Andernos, and Karine DESMOULIN, president of Gironde Tourisme, this meeting made it possible to formalize the obtaining of the Qualité Tourisme mark, for a period of 5 years.

 

Aude GALLANT, assistant for economic and tourist attractiveness, recalled the missions followed by the tourist office team:

 

Welcoming visitors: orchestrated by Julie SOISMIER, reception today tends to evolve towards increasingly personalized advice. With more than 30 people informed in 000, the installation of a pre-reception in season has become essential, which makes it possible to compensate at the same time for the choice of no longer providing self-service documentation.

Note also that the phenomenon of seasonality extends more and more towards a period going from Easter to All Saints' Day.

The ticketing service, for the “Dolce Vita” performance hall (€58 in revenue in 477), and providers of guided tours and various activities (€2021 in revenue in 25), is a real added value accessible to tourists and locals.

Promoting the territory via print (destination magazine, city map and summer guide) and digital tools (website, social networks, newsletter) is also a key issue for disseminating up-to-date and translated information, on different media (computer, telephone, tablet), with a sunny, fun and dynamic editorial charter.

Significant work is carried out in particular on Instagram, a social network which is gaining momentum, and on Facebook which offers two monthly meetings, “the OT tested for you” and “the recipe of the month”, as well as events scheduled to promote the guided tours.

The creation of the tourist offer makes it possible to meet the demands of visitors, in particular family customers, looking for leisure activities for all ages. Several partners jointly reflect on the necessary improvements, by meeting twice a year with the tourist office, before and after the season. The preferred themes are boating, nature and heritage.

Terra Aventura remains a free product and accessible to all, which generates economic benefits of more than €100 for the destination since its implementation in June 000.

 The qualification of the offer is also an important issue for Andernos, in particular with support for classification for vacation rentals (26 files for a revenue of €5760).

After thanking the tourist office team for their involvement in its various projects, Aude GALLANT invited the partners present to meet the service providers participating in the “small market”, made up of stalls of traders and artists (Veronica LO, TIKTIK, Salsa Import, Anne LAMOUR), leisure players (Point Bar/long coast, flyway/kite surfing, PeP33/nature visits, Starlett/electric scooter rental).
